*With supreme apologies to the folks at "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego"  Well, she sneaks around the Forums from Open down to Prose, She’s a stanza-penning Mod, a hit with all the teens What’s gonna come next from her is something no one knows Tell me, Where in the World is Poet deVine? She’ll steal your heart in Open 15, make the critics cry “uncle” From DP on to Dialogue, they’ll be singing the blues Well you’ll never clerihew her words from my poetic bungle Tell me, Where in the World is Poet deVine?? She goes from Adult to Feelings The Lounge to Announcements Corner Pub to Spiritual and back!! Well she built an ark in the Archives, played a Maven in the Haven Then she raided English Workshop and played a joke on K She put the Mod in modulation when she read before the nation Tell me, Where in the World is Poet deVine? Oh tell me, Where in the World. . . tell me where can she be? Q&A to Suggestion, Bug Swatter via Forum News, DM to SM, Challenge, Holiday!! Well she glides around the Forums, and she’ll whiz-bang up the meter She’s a versifying diva with a taste for monody But what will you say on the day you finally see her?? Tell me, Where in the World is Poet deVine??? Oh Tell me. . . Where in the World is Poet deVine??? She’s out there. . . Where in the World is Poet deVine??? (repeat and fade) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
