I really think there are too many happy/love poems. ~The black light emerges from the dark~ Standing, crying silently You left me Alone in this place you call life Yet I am not alone The black light emerges from the dark Surrounding me Enthralling my body My life- and empty being with no soul You are gone I’m still here Waiting for your return Until the blessed day When I’m not alone The day had come And passed me by And will come again When it is night The dark is captivating Won’t let me go I’m waiting Waiting for you To come and not leave me alone The black light emerges from the dark Eating whatever is left of my soul Leaving my empty body to wait for you With no more tears to cry I wait You’ve been gone for what seems an eternity I’ve forgotten its you I’m waiting for Your eyes to lock onto mine The black light emerges from the dark And I am no more 05/06/97 |

Perhaps not "too many happy poems", but rather, not enough poems like this one. I think it takes a free and confident writer to let the pen record this darker part of life. Many can't do this. Thanks for sharing. (But tell me, are there 31 other Snooganzmeisters?) ![]() \\ |
