Fear grips a nation's hand
As terror sweeps across the land
Many tears start to fall
Watching the destruction of power's walls
They crumble to the ground
No one watching utters a sound

Countless people stand helplessly by
While their fallen comrades needlessly die
They can't stop evil's reign
Hearts cry out in desperation and pain
America's faiths unite as one
Praying to God under moon and sun

Smoke fills once clean air
Many are lost and feel despair
A city slept in freedom's peace
Is awakened by hatred's release
Leaving us all to wonder why
Fire exploded across New York's sky

Those responsible will one day pay
The Lord God shall have the final say
He knows all that was said and done
In the end revenge will be won
The righteous shall always prevail
Because for those He took the nails

Make no mistake of what He meant
This is why His Son was sent
To take evil and sin from the earth
Restoring mankind's precious worth
Once again He shall reign
And peace on earth will be retained
