Doreen, get out of that big city
Come raise cows with my wife and me
When I heard that D.C. got hit
I almost had a horrendous fit
For all those people in your town alone
Could see up close what the world was shown

I was born in ole D.C.
My biological father in the Green Army
His dishonorable discharge saved us from
Having to live in that city of scum
(except for you Doreen)
(you are the D.C. Queen)

I know you only live in the vicinity
And next to my town they killed Jack Kennedy
But Doreen, get out of that big city
Come raise cows with my wife and me
It’s an open invitation (let me ask my wife)
I don’t like to think you could have lost your life

I hope I haven’t put a foot in my mouth
Doreen Periscope won’t you please head south!!
