When the eagle is threatened Hawks and doves Wear the same feathers And sparrows gather For a common purpose Like sisters and brothers That share the same nest With a snake in their midst There's no time for arguing On how to resist The eagle's eye Will search Out the viper And when all of heaven And earth's winged Angel's unite The serpent Will not have Even a belly left To crawl on [This message has been edited by Songbird (edited 09-15-2001).] |
