war is horrid
war is waste
terrorism must be stopped
yet not stopped with haste

nay, but with superb planning
saving ALL that might be saved
but perpetrators must be halted
for the way they have behaved

shave them of their power
proclaim a mighty stand
with righteous, God ordained anger
we must preserve our land

and not just the soil
that lies beneath our feet
but the heart of all the living
must be saved from harsh defeat

we shall raise our words toward heaven
in a day of national prayer
for that is the only realm
that can mete out perfect care

our spirits will prevail
above the salting of the storm
no matter fate of flesh and blood
the victory's already won

now don't become confused
there is more at stake then US
yet the perfect provision
was settled on the cross
