is your life really all that bad?

you're clothed and fed,
have home, have bed,

but all you see are problems.

when next you meet some fellow in the street,
holding a sign at a stop light.

wonder not, "what's he on?"

try instead, "will he eat today?"
or "where will he sleep tonight?"

do your problems seem smaller?

walk a mile...tom

I enjoy your style of writing very much. And agree with the philosophy expressed. There's too much blame in the world, not enough compassion. Thanks for the thoughts.

Nice piece, Tom. It's good to be able to read something that isn't about the terrorists.

This piece sparks off many thoughts and has actually got me thinking about a piece. Thanks for the read.
