Losing that Feeling

I sometimes
think of who I am,
manipulator
of this world of mine.

Or am I the one
being controlled
by my surroundings?

Am I
who I wish to be?
Do I
know where I am headed?
At times,
I think not.

Enjoyed your poem... empathy.

If Time is the fire in which our souls burn,

perhaps not my friend. . . but, those are the times where we need to grab back the controls from whoever the heck the pilot is. . .
