Loves Me Not

Wonder why they never say
hey sweetheart its just me and you.
Wonder why they try me out for awhile
and decide it's something they
don't want to do.
Then they say hey you can
go ahead and date other girls.
Because we're just friends and friends
are free to give everyone a whirl.
I suppose I should be happy
because I can do anything I want.
But I'm really not because
the one I want is the one
that loves me not.

I think we can all associate with that feeling...but one thing it does is stretch our creative and poetic ability...pain is a wonderful motivator for sharing. Keep sharing, friend.
