Who thrive on innocent wonders and ardent humiliations. Those are a few of the things that drive us in our art. We the poets, the people of this passion, Seek the knowledge to grow with daily, And wander sometimes haphazardly into the souls of others for just that curious peek. We the passion, poets of world and dreams, Want to dive into your well of thought, And climb out slowly while handling and feeling carefully, each stone, To get the idea of how you're built and be amazed at how strong or weak you are. We the people, passionate poets, Need to observe you not like mice or lab specimens, But like fellow humans who go about the art of understanding, Sometimes a little more diligently than others. We the passionate poet people must sometimes face our greatest fear along the way, And sometimes we are the biggest monsters under our beds of all. Don't gain my affections then cover my eyes. Don't sweep me off my feet then fail to catch me before I hit the floor. [This message has been edited by Temptress (edited 09-06-2001).] |

reads like the preamble to a poetic constitution. . . well done. . . ----------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
