How We Had Talked

We had talked
How it would be
Our island hideaway
Beside sparkling sea

We had talked
How dreams grew
Enlarging the picture
Developing with you

We had talked
How we conversed
You played the music
My thoughts I versed

We had talked
How fast time flies
From morning songs
To my dream lullabies

We had talked
How we each sated
Desires we hungered
The more we created

We had talked
How hearts became
Sharing togetherness
In dreaming the same

How pretty.

Sharing togetherness
In dreaming the same

Lovely reading.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

This is a lovely poem.  Some poems evoke messages to individuals that are not in the theme of the poem.  The words "Had I talked to you" haunted me through this poem...It is a male thing I guess.  This piece sent me to the corner to reflect.

Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream.

Hi thanks Rusty Knight , had you talked , I wonder what you would have said ??
now you are off reflecting , either shedding , heat , light or perhaps a little insight
