Darkness thick and looming near
Like the tendrils of my fear
Threatening end to peace of mind
Daring to tred among our kind.
Darkness knows he cannot stay
  Where the light does purvey.
He cannot touch us 'ere the day
When we push our light away.
So cling, friend unto the light,
Grip it, lovingly hold it tight.
Make it one within yourself
Rather than keep it on a shelf.
For when the time comes you resist
And drive the light away like mist
On that day the dark will win
And claim you for your evil sin.

Darkness can be embraced so long as there is balance with the Light and one knows that his true core is indeed one of Light...
