Black dog that tracks relentlessly the tired heart in my chest, will you not allow a rest? Respite from the ceaseless baying of insecurities? What hounds man released you to run in never ending circles through my life? What crime or sin did I commit to deserve being Dragged into the dark pits of hell With you on my heels... Always nipping... Always gnawing... Always there... |
