The Bedroom Window

Chintz
Frames the casement
With an inhibition of design
That perforates intermittently
As it substitutes
Delicacy
And a pattern of uniformity
For the abandon
Draped on clouds and trees
As dawn bathes
With calves flung over
The tub's edge.
