Upon Life’s Journeys

Its upon a life’s journey
Each one becomes a ride
Of swings , roundabouts
Sometimes a downslide

Its upon a life’s journey
Crossroads shall appear
With choice of directions
We continue year to year

Its upon a life’s journey
Paths wearing with time
Well trodden favourites
With the added sunshine

Its upon a life’s journey
Sometime battling uphill
Various tracks travelled
Many sad tears we spill

Its upon a life’s journey
Trust our own decision
Obstacles to overcome
Making a clearer vision

Its upon a life’s journey
Happy mixed with strife
Reasons on every bend
Enduring all “that’s life”

Very well put indeed! A nice simple but oh so wise poem. A positive outlook will always help us all to deal maturely and lovingly with all aspects of life...and like you state in your well designed verses...there is going to be some sorrow mixed with joy.
