Sometimes there a shadow in my head Totally convinced I'm someone else instead A passage way to another time Beyond the sun, without a rhyme Lost in a never ending spiral of my disease Empty of anyone I've ever wanted to please Maybe I never was who I thought to be Insanity runs deep in my family No one to love and few who care Deeply into nothing I often stare Created by the turbulence of the world today Rehashed and remashed with nothing new to say A faded shadow of thoughs and dreams Some with love, and most with screams Here on the downside I fall once more Every time I try to leave through the door Stopped by the whispers of things unsure |

Very intense, thought provoking. Written from a mind in a whirl it seemed. I enjoyed it very much. Went back and read some of your others. Great writing Tracey If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

On the outside many appear stable, only a professional would know, I suppose, but then who speaks to them? Somebody has to encourage the 12 years of school that pushes them to edges of pits that no one wants to tread. I think your poem lifts the veil of our own servitude. Our inner self. Very well done. Sincerely, Regina |
