I look in your eyes Magnetic and blue From th’depths of your soul The pain is glaring through I see you’ve been hurt Your heart deeply scarred Too much neglect Has put you on guard You could’ve grown cold Spite made you bitter ‘Stead you warm me with a smile That says you’re no quitter Undying true love That you give to me Heals my heart’s scars And sets my soul free Dead emotions now alive To you I give credit You stirred something in me I’m forever indebted A pledge that I now make to you All that I am and all that I do Will rebuild your dreams To make them come true Reward you with love That will ever be growing Till the last drop of rain And the rivers stop flowing Love one another-let God do the worrying, |

Rodney~ 'A pledge that I now make to you All that I am and all that I do Will rebuild your dreams To make them come true Reward you with love That will ever be growing Till the last drop of rain And the rivers stop flowing' This is very, very pretty~ Thanks for sharing~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Thanks for the compliments, but it is nowhere near the beauty that she emanates!...she is truly the one I have been looking and praying for...there IS a God! Love one another-let God do the worrying, |

I'm surprised any man knows how to pledge these days, I'm impressed. |

Thanks for the reply shadow...but I am anything but a "typical" male. I am not afraid to love and show it...too bad many of my brethren didn't feel the same...but then we wouldn't have sad songs to listen to nor sad poems to write...GREAT web site btw...again thanks...Rod |
