Intermittance

I lean my head, in tilt of you
early morning rise in blue,
awaiting thoughts to gently rock
and sleep a rhythm, rhyme, tick-tock.

I wish for dreams to pull me in
this early night-morn, dark again.
But tilted head's aleaning towards
another day filled morn-night forward.

Mindless offerings, deceptive thoughts
in worded webs received, each caught.
I drink to swallow moments new
while waiting angel's dusting to

Allow me peacefulness at last,
overcome this sleepless task,
allowing finger thoughts to nest
returning me, to further rest...
