Seek Not Her Direction But Her Would Have Been Path |

Passion gave pain and slowed her appeal Rustling thunder threatened loud As breeze blew on and scattered the crowd. She alone stood wandering around Passion lost and smiles unbound For fevered night had passed with zeal No smile could this sadness steal. Left alone with words that alter And hearts awakened with lonely falter She left the wind to call her name Whispered saint she ached the same. Mused and teared all through a night Downward corners took no more flight Lips that sealed a lover's curse Love that caused her heart to purse. Wasted life and lonely dreams Called her to the greater things Like heaven calling out her name Ending now to give God her pain Could she know her path was clear Distant lonely woman dear And could she strengthen for the ride And rise with smiles on God's tide? Faith was distant although she knew Once it was there, her tears were few Once she tread that worn out path To love and acceptance, heaven's aftermath. She is distantly lonely, settled not Seeking forever to abandon rot Soul sings out in desperation As God promises his coloration But faith had left her long ago Left her heart so empty and cold Could she now rise back above Accept some greater gift of love? Hardened heart and desperate will A growing woman was she still. Unsure of paths that glow and glisten To her heart she did not listen. So she wandered there in cirlces around Happiness and joy she never found. Accept in helping others see To take of God and his lovely plea. Her own mistakes she could not change Her place in heaven was not arranged. But listen now her begging tears, For you to give God your battles, Dears. I am many. Found the title intriguing...and I loved the cascade of words..and yes how we battle our passions for peace of mind (well, that was my take on it, which probably says WAY TOO MUCH ABOUT ME-- ) I think this is the first of yours I have read Siofra and I enjoyed very much. I'll be looking for more! |

Siofra, a very good penning, indeed. We learn so much from our mistakes, it makes us want to be reborn in a good light, to do right by all we've been taught by life... well done... |

well done. . . but I'm wondering if one could seek where she was, and not where she was going. . . nice form and the flow was very good. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Siofra, This is a very sad and painful poem. We all make mistakes and need to understand that forgiveness of self, though often quite hard to do, must be done so that we can grow and not live on in the past. Fine work here! Michael Michael Auguste~ |
