A candle, Shakespeare Upon the write o’er pen does creep of Romeo and he who keeps the light of love within his breast, my dearest sir, you need some rest… I allow you, love this quest you seek and I arise as sweet dawn peeks to see you slumped o’er the ponder of quaint rhymes o’er which you wander did you think that I not know how this desire within you grows? how this ink thus stains your hands? how written word your heart commands? so, should you wake in deep this night when black is black there seems no light I leave for you a candle’s gleam that you might follow this yellow beam to one who would wait for you a candle, Shakespeare, for heavens view. |

did you think that I not know how this desire within you grows? how this ink thus stains your hands? how written word your heart commands? I wish I was more familiar with the bard's words, sadly he has slipped me by so far. However, this introduction by pen was wonderful. Beautifully penned, Decaflame.
