~~~ You are My Song ~~~ You are my song…. Sung In yonder years When there was no time for words Just for songs Untamed as they were Rhymed in the most Exotic ways undulating evoking and saying so much in sounds yet not known to modern life You are that song That ancient Voice Coming through centuries Of tired existence Speaking Of the heart Of man When simple voices Of the woods Have more To say Than all the rhymed verses Of nowadays You are that song That tribal Primal Song Pounding within me And all walls Of me Echo That song Carrying it gently On waves Forever Crashing On my shores You are the song Of all my mornings With the forever Rising And setting Suns Of my days The song Softly whispered With the dawn, Slowly presenting itself To life With the yawning rays That song Coming Endued with dew Twinkling With its drops And forever giving itself Over To me Enslaving me With its taste Yet Forever setting me Free With its boundless Existence Yes….you are the song Of my mornings And yet… Of that of my nights Dancing Under silver light Forever challenging The moon to match its steps You are that song That ancient Forever tempting song And yet… I know That no song In you Could match The song of you Given to me. << |
There is no song like the love for another... a melody which is so mesmerizing as to never be forgotten. A flowing write, which inspires its own music, but may I suggest a graphic correction to your key signature -- unless you're going for complete artistic license, I've never seen one like that in music... -MVS "It's all in the details -- the Big Picture always takes care of itself." |
Mark... Oh....yes.....A melody of love is almost always mesmerizing. As for the key notes......I too haven't seen that in music ....I just took the graphic from some site....Perhaps they were attempting to a new format of music.... Thank you my friend for your kind words and comments.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Sandra~ I'm thrilled that you loved it...... Thank you my dear friend.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Sea~ And I love the fact that you loved it....
