Fly on wings
From ‘Some lines for you’ suggestions by Paula Finn

Fly on wings
forged in winter’s ice
it seems so rightly ended
by an anger ever denied
a drama never intended

Fly on wings
born of your own disavowal
towards a goal that has no name
it was never my intention
to hold you to this flame

Fly on wings
of a youthful heart
that will seek to know again
the warmth of a new lover
lying skin to skin

Fly on wings
strengthened by resistance
to a love that didn’t fit quite right
leave us both the satisfaction
of this one peaceful night

Love flees from our hands, but is imprinted on us forever. Great poem!

Feels like Im dancin with truth and wisdom
Precious rhythm you are my guide
These days are sacred, my heart is humble
Oh warrior show me thy light

I remember when Duncan wrote...things were just a little bit more right then.
