I like the style of this tanka very much... you didn't use any verbs in the first three lines, that was rather clever. It set the scene well. The last two lines I felt were somewhat separate, as is common with this format - they go into a description of event rather than setting. I love how you mapped the format and used it wisely to create a wonderful poem. As difficult as it is to fail at Tanka poetry, it is even more difficult to succeed. faterider: I too wonder what whe have done to deserve so much beautiful moments around us .....but even more that most of them are unnoticed. Allan: I am so glad that you like this tanka...all I do is to translate feelings that comes up when I inhale and observe the beauty within.....thank you for your reply that I highly apreciate |
