Love walked in When I saw you My heart didn't know Just what to do I looked at you And there you were Where my heart would take me I was not sure. I took a risk Upon loving you But then of course What else could I do? I loved you then And I love you now Surround me love With your words With your voice With the love that never changes. More lovely than a sea-swept storm You came into my life Removing all fear and strife You were my anchor The heart of my soul Each day Your words Are what kept me whole. Even when we are far apart I know that we are still one in heart..... This poem is lovingly dedicated to my long-time friend & boyfriend Jonathan, that I have known for almost 11 years. |
