Sullen Wave Anonymous silk without color learning her blush in the wiles of her lover's tongue She came to me at his passing rouged with sullen wave in the call of lonesome winds billowing sadness conjured by a spell of river long tears And all I could do was pass the torch my zeal for color long departed black robed and far removed from the rainbow's arching Willie ©2001 |
