A Picture Does a picture say a thousand words? Were you to see me in this moment, could you tell of my thoughts that scream inside, or would I be but a pitiful combination of yesterday's trials and errors, and tomorrow's hopes that keep all good a distance from within, always an arm's length away? Tired, I would look, and aging still, every day. Each daring me with chances, choices to frame my life, to brace the edges that over the years have become weighted down dividing, separating, distributing me from truth. Today I am out of sequence, I stand motionless, static, frozen in want, a still life mirroring the old. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

Today I am out of sequence, I stand motionless, static, frozen in want, a still life mirroring the old. My friend... still life paintings can be beautiful... but for ourselves...life should never be frozen into a moment... I am sorry today..you feel frozen. Perhaps a ray ot two of sunshine from this place will help you thaw... Nicely written..and as usual I enjoyed reading your words.. |
