She asked "Are you well, my daughter" and I answered, "Yes, Mom everything's fine" She continue questioning me, she said I looked sick. I left the room, and looked in a mirrow I looked happy so I thought My reflection didn't show the uncertainty of your love Thought that I could fool the world pretending things didn't hurt me It was then I saw a tear I wiped it off and left the room My mother knows me too well |

Mothers are like that aren't they? I enjoyed thinking about this. " I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be" George William Curtis" |

Perhaps we see what we wish... but effects of the heart and soul are often reflected in our eyes... for others, who are atuned, to see. A lovely poem... I enjoyed it immensely. |
