I'd like to think the world's not ill and not abrink the devil's will, nor it in sync a crying shrill about to drink death's sleeping pill. Then I breathe the fouling air and watch us sheathe a future there, as anger seethes forgetting care our heirs bequeathe forlorn and bare. Taint the water, litter shores, shrinking fodder, people more, getting hotter, ozone's tore, tensions tauter enter war. Screw tomorrow live today from it borrow let "them" pay, forget sorrow, dare not pray, watch as we throw all away. Greed denies and won't replace clear blue skies we now deface, is this wise lost human race? We comprise earth's last disgrace. "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve" |

I still have hope that all will turn around... only when we give up, is it too late... |

You have a good view on what the world is coming to and I like the way you portrayed it! All we can do it pray... Cindi God is our inspiration; Words of the heart can be music to our ears |

It's called "The Quickening". To some, "Armageddon". It's very real and very now, and although we "can't change the world", we can change ourselves and live by example. If enough people do this, the "ripple effect" can swell into a very powerful wave, indeed. I think we in this forum are all making waves in our own tiny ways, and THAT is what can help to balance out at least a little portion of this Reality Canvas you have painted here. Accurate and chilling work, Richard. -MVS "If you think you know it all, you have a lot to learn." |
