Soft Touch

in the reach, fingers only touching air
she searches for soft, a feel, mayhap care
something ethereal, perhaps yet not there
but his words come so soft, and she would share

in the reach, this feel that comes to her skin
invading serene delights there within
how best as to enlighten lovely whims
as if liquid mead touches golden brim

heady ‘tis, this reach to touch forever
how she delights in his presence clever
so safe, there, in her heart, not to sever
she to be all his heart’s light endeavor

so she shall reach for the soft of his soul
a life’s goal, to be whole, upon his shoal

Ahh, in the reach, you may do fine, for you will know if there is a sign...a very lovely write and I love the pic as it looks just like the sloughs we have around here..very gentle smile
