(Harley) RIDER --- Set your course for Valhalla and ride Ride the roar to eternity, Your heart-brother, Thor thunders close at your side Ride the great roar and be free. Honor the pagan gods that adore you, Ride with the wind in your hair, Challenge the sane of the world to ignore you, Ride on, as few would dare. Odin's fierce daughter is given to you, Ride with her pressed to your back, Common men dream mighty dreams through you, Ride with the spirit they lack. This is the battle you chose to begin, Ride on, past your brothers who fell, The armor you wear is the web that you spin, Ride on, into heaven or hell. ---- this poem is for my friends from the old days--- [This message has been edited by Constance (edited 08-08-2001).] |
