A Sequenced Symphony You say you really know me inside and on out. Your thoughts take slow walks over me, with you there is no doubt. Chapter after chapter line by conscious line. I am an open book to view. You've touched my edges, fine. You've read me in the summer heat, when storms have raged on end. Responded, watching silently, devoted loving friend. You've turned the page to watch the leaves upon my trees limbs Fall. I lingered in the cool each night to hear your shadows call. The pages of my Winter's write are filled with loving you. Your double kiss, I've missed, the melt of snow filled memories, too. And when the Springtime rains came down, it's tears you brushed away. You are my world of seasons, bound, between my covers stay. My morning wakes, alone in you with precious words to chain. I listen for the feel of chimes in tunes of each refrain. Embraced, am I, each time I rise just knowing that you've read my words, awaiting eyes of blue to view each line, type bled. Today I let the memories wash over me in rhyme. I hold onto each seasons wake releasing you in time. A melody of thoughts, in longing novel you to me. I'm bound in words, a vision's touch a sequenced symphony. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 07-13-2001).] |

Now you're talking "my domain" -- "sequenced" and "symphony"... :-) I enjoyed the flow and rhyme here, and the message leaves me pondering... many things to contemplate. Nice work, Wynter. -MVS "If you think you know it all, you have a lot to learn." |

BRAVO!!!!!! Ok, Maureen, you've been holding out on us, this is fantastic verse! God, I just read it and it flowed, more more!!! I'm serious, this is verse you can really sink your poetic teeth into keep it coming, more flow, more meter, it's great. Can you tell I liked it?
