Daughter, Do You Suppose ~ ~*Mom*~  Daughter, do you suppose you'd like to reminisce ? How about the first day I felt the movement of you in bliss How treasured 'neath my heart you lay quiet in heart-beating sighs Then suddenly there you were before my very eyes Of beauty born in soft adorn my favorite shade of pink I placed first kiss of motherhood upon your baby soft cheek Through the years of memories that often spring to mind None is more special than knowing first child - you were mine So upon your birthday I'd like to thank you so For the special gift of motherhood on me you did bestow ~Happy Birthday, Tracie~ You are still a treasure, dear Just one more chance for me to say You grow lovelier with each year I love you~ August 4, 2001 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Mysteria~ From the baby I first held - to the woman she's become, she has filled my heart with her joy. RWood~ I think she will have a wonderful day. She is a pure delight. Charisma~ Thank you. This is very beautiful and deeply touching, what a wonderful birthday gift for her  If my mother wrote a poem like this for me I would cry happy tears all day and treasure it always.
