A Farewell (to the "younger man")acrostic Dreamer- born to see inside my heart, All the world is yours to have and hold. Very few will ever see that secret part, Inside you, that burns hot against the cold. Distant hills gave called your name and I will miss you. God be with you as you leave here- free. Often, when the wind blows, I will kiss you, Only you will know the wind is me. Dare to reach as high as you desire, Be the man I came to know in my brief time. You must never let the world put out your fire. Experience life, sweet poet, make it rhyme! [This message has been edited by Constance (edited 08-01-2001).] |

Constance....this is very good. This younger man should count his blessings for having come to know the older and wiser person encapsulated herein... |

Constance--Youth is a frame of mind, but wisdom takes years to grow. I think you know both. Enjoyed this poem! |

Wonderfully written -- felt like a fresh breeze... Makes me hope that "he" appreciates "thee"... -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |
