Look Around Virginia Salter I look around young couples smiling, playful sporting children happy times find myself hoping hoping for their success wondering wondering, will they make it will their smiles fill their days overthrow the tears overturn the years where pain ‘tempts enter in will wisdom win when doubt clouds their vision when moments of derision fester in their beings will their own hope be a victor when some part of world tries to sever the gold they hold in their love a prayer issues from my heart that what God did will to start let not man rend asunder through the thunder of his ways that a balm of blessing shall bring a caressing that soothes the beings that they are preserving their eternity © August 12, 2000 |

This is so selfless VAS! A heartfelt hope that they hang on to their love, and happiness even when times are tough. We should all be so encouraging and prayerful of others. Most are only envious of it. Some even try to wipe the smiles off their faces. I love the way you lend your hope to others. God must smile on you! I wish I could pat you on the back and say "I hope happiness lives with you always!" Sincerely Regina |

Vas, I see some of my own thoughts in this poem. I too wonder, but when there is love, there is hope. Nice poem. Hugs, Deb |

Thank you both very much, for your reading and for joining me in this hope. Regina, I feel patted, thank you. |
