Windsurfing I cannot bear witness to your vanishing, this vestige, a faceless touch, once solid. Soon, no amount of unearthing will verify your existence. With each plane of exodus, you drift, from weight of water to vapor. This decision winnowed in on prevailing winds, realized with a finality one spring day, with a finger’s snap, pictures of simplicity pierced through intricacies, a calling higher than ground could hold. A part of the earth, but apart from it, gathering love about you, windsurfing on a williwaw, to a locale known only to God. © 2001 Corinne Bailey [This message has been edited by Corinne (edited 07-27-2001).] |

Corinne~ 'A part of the earth, but apart from it, gathering love about you, windsurfing on a williwaw, to a locale known only to God.' You write of life (or the loss of it?) with piercing vividity~ Exceptionally well done, poetess. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

this is excellent Corinne. . . showing the loss of life here. . . but also the fact that in the loss of life, there is the re-birth of the spirit. . . windsurfing the astral winds to find Eden. . . as always, you use the most wonderful and heartfelt images in your work. . .this is no exception. . . ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person.
