Standing In Silence...

Revenge is at hand,
for no longer can I withstand,
this ever-going lie.

I thought I made it clear,
I didn't want you near,
my already broken heart.

I told you not to look around,
for sadness and misery is what you found,
in my darkened mind.

But you wouldn't stop,
you couldn't let it drop,
you had to be with me.

Now I'm hurting more,
at my open wound you tore,
and ripped it apart.

You've been hurting all along,
you made me think you were strong,
but truly you are weak.

You threw deceit in my face,
then tried to erase,
all those already spoken lies.

Now it's my turn to play,
hurt you in a way,
you could never imagine.....

Wow this is such an intense poem, I know what you are going through sometimes hurting someone seems like such a good idea but in the end we only end up hurting ourselves even more in the process. Anyway this is such a great read, thank you for sharing

thanks 4 the reply, i'm glad u liked it. i know hurting people isnt always a good thing, but i wrote this when i was mad so...i thought it made out nicely lol, thanks again~later
