In His Arms, Harpers Ferry, WV

Anybody remember him, from WAYYYY back when? Well, this one was written for him. (We're even talking about getting back together). I've never given a guy a 2nd chance, but once you read on, you'll understand...

I cant believe you’ve come back
~ Into my life after so long.
           Just like nothing has changed

The way you kissed me last night
~ Gave me chills up my spine
            Just like it always had

            Your arms holding me tight
                    ~ Flooded me with feelings
That I haven’t had in a year and a half.

            Just sitting in your truck
~ For those 5 short hours
And you won my heart over again.

            Four o’clock in the morning
                    ~ Lying in his truck
Being held tightly in his arms.

            What I just wasn’t expecting
~ Was to hear you say you still loved me
And place a kiss on my cheek.

When asked how long you’ve known
                    ~ Your answer amazed me
            “I’ve always known”

Once the sun started to show
~ You said you had to go
But not before you kissed me once more.

I walked into the house, Dazed
~ Feeling like it’d never ended
And hoping it wasn’t just a dream.

Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants?

I remember the mentioning of Justin Micheal, yes. I hope it works out for you, and this was a lovely poem. Paints a real nice picture.
