Why is it so simple to fall for those we hardly know, Yet the ones we should love have been standing there all along? Why do we look for those who don't love us the way they should, When true blues sit invisible to our eyes? Why do we allow ourselves to be hurt time and time again, While those who heal stand untouched by our hands? Why do we fall in the same trap day after day, While the ones who can rescue us from this curse stand-alone? Why do we kill ourselves for someone who just makes us want to die, When the reason for living is right next to us? Why do we mistake your pure love for frindship, When all we really need is a friend?? The ones who love us stand by and watch us wishing they could help but we wont let them, And now they're gone and we are alone forever. "The Fat Man Walks Alone" |

Yay Betsy! It only took us an hour for that one line! hehe.... But seriously, have you ever heard that quote: "why do we adore the ones who ignore us, an ignore the ones who adore us" I will forever wonder what makes us like that, and you expressed it so well! I love ya betsy! ~lisa |
