I wanted someone to love me
who knew that that someone was you
i never could have emagined
what loving someone would do
who knew that i would change
change in so many ways
give up so much
just for you to say
say that you loved me
and that you would never break my heart
or to listen to the sweet words you whisper
in my ear when we're alone in the dark
who knew that i would come to love you
even though i promised myself i never would
tell you things that i never told anyone
and somehow you are the one that understood
so many nights i dreamed
dreamed to have someone like you by my side
but when i thought of you and me
i never would have thought you were that guy
In the beginning you made me cry
but now you cry with me and then wipe away my tears
I love it how you can look in my eyes
and chase away every doubt and fear
and yet it almost seems unfair
that we have found a love so true
but you make me so happy
i dont know what i would do without you
