I ruined his life today. I've been ruining mine on and off for quite some time now. But today i officially ruined his. I accomplished it without knowing somehow. It breaks my heart, Oh god it really does. Just to hear him say to me. "No one has ever done such a horrible thing to me before". When he said that my eyes swelled with water like the sea. I dont care and im a constant let down. Isnt it obvious im absolutely shameful. But if you'd only see it werent true, Maybe you wouldnt be so blameful. I've been ruining my life, That was enough in itself to look down upon. But now im the cause of your stumbles and falls too. I wish only to be gone. You told me what you did today, My heart stopped and my chest ached. Everything froze in one place. And i absolutely hated myself. Theres no other word that could do a finer justice. Now i sit here. Crying and wondering. Am i worthy of even being loved? Is a constant let down worth a bright side? I use to think you could rise to the occasion, Possibly forget a few long held grudges, but i dont think im worthy of such a thing. Not anymore. I really like your poem. We all go through times when we feel we have let everyone down and screwed everything up but eventually we grow out of it...or we accept it as part of being human and laugh at ourselves. So, just laugh! |
