So today they know the truth, How the virgin Mary fell Only they see it as a way to punish her For what they suffered when they fell. They yell and complain and accuse Yet she does not feel ashamed. Some refuse to see the new Mary, the real Mary Who knew she could be so human, yet not at all? Do they realize they only hurt themselves? Could she tell them the truth and they truly comprehend? Mary knows the ways of the world now She knows all about the game, and as much as they would enjoy it - Mary won't play. |
