I sit and think of days gone by
how i never stopped to wonder why
took for granted that i was alive

but now i see...

i was once blind to my environment
defiled all yet didnt repent
never understood how to be a true friend

but now i see...

mistreated others for my own purposes
didnt care when they said "that hurts"
stood on anyone just to be first

but now i see...

that i'm not changed at all
it's just that
now i see where i've done poor

so i see...

all the things you require of me
to change my ways for brighter days
to begin to obey...my God today

my inspiration has drained like perspiration ..again i'm empty like hemp i been smoked dry...*sigh*
