She doesn't see the pain in his eyes cos she won't even look him the face she thinks if she blocks him out the memories will fade without a trace she truly believes her heart will heal if she only pushes him away shes breaking his heart, shes breaking her heart more and more every day She can't understand that what she's doing isn't helping a thing they're both hurting, she doesn't want to remember the happiness he used to bring He can't stand the heartache she feeds him each day he wonders how much more he must take A girl's heart can be her worst nightmare it consumed her... now she feels empty because he's not there The world is like a mirror; frown at it, and it frowns at you. Smile and it smiles, too |

Wow i really like this. i think you did a good job on this. It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that. |

I like this. Well written. I think the best way to get over it is to face that person and try to be friends. That way you're not losing all of the person, and not breaking either hearts completely in half. Not a fun situation. - Cody - |

Sometimes members of the female persuasion (and I'm one, so don't jump down my neck ) tend to think that the easiest way to leave someone is to draw away from him. I like the way you expressed what really goes on when we try it. Guys do it too, yeah, but not as much (one point for the guys). Great write, and great read!! Nicely done here. I enjoyed this one. I hope to see you come around more. I haven't seen you in a while. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Wow, this was an awesome poem. Very nice work, Jen. This one hit me hard. I know the feelings, and the emotions you portrayed were excellent. Very nice work. "A girl's heart can be her worst nightmare it consumed her... now she feels empty because he's not there" Wonderful work.. simply awesome. --Marie You can’t expect the roses to grow without the weeds. |

The title made me come but your poem made me stay I really liked how you described how each others hearts are hurting, very nicely done. "Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before." |

this is a great poem i loved it and it hit pretty close to home so i can see exactly where you are coming from here... sometimes it is hard to open up, even to someone you care about, for fear of getting hurt again. i had a figurative concrete wall up in all of my past relationships and it always ended with me pushing the person so far away that we broke up... but sometimes you need to take the chance of getting hurt... it will make the relationship much better and the end of the relationship won't be as bitter as if you push the person away and cause them pain everyday... hope i helpeed a little... *Pixie* |
