Forget his name Forget his face Forget his kiss Remember he has someone new So forget him Forget him when they play your song Forget the way you cried all night long Forget how close you two once were Remeber that he's now with her Forget how you memorized his walk Forget the way he used to talk Forget the things he used to say And how he'd blow kisses over the phone Forget the way he held you tight Remember that he's with her tonight Forget the time that went so fast Forget the love that's now the past Forget he said he'd never leave Remeber he's gone forever

Oh wow this one, especially the last line, definitely hit home 4 me! You've done an amazing job with such a simple poem. This one is going into my library!  Anyway, although it's both neccesary and healthy to forget things that are over, there's no reason to 4get the memories you have. Those are yours, and they will belong to you 4ever. Keep them in ur heart and remember what good times you had. Memories are the only thing that make all the heartache worthwhile. As 4 him, it's going to take awhile and it will be hard, but you will eventually get over him. Good luck! I really loved your poem and I can totally relate to it. Its so hard to forget someone you loved so much , and even harder to see them with someone eles. Im going threw that right now lol. Takes alot of time my bestfriend is w/my ex and I honestly can't tell you in words how much that bothers and hurts me .... but if you ever need someone to talk 2 my email adds [email protected] Well hope to see more of your work! ~*kRYSTLE*~ |
