You stab me in the back You say, “Did I do that?” I turn - your hand, it’s bloody. You yell, you scream! I cover my eyes, I hide the pain. You twist the knife. You twist again. Again, again, and again! You laugh, you mock! I hate, I seethe. I fall to the floor, I breath my last. I say, “It will come to pass!” You go outside, the mob is there. You run, you hide. Still they’re there. In my grave, I have the last laugh. |

wow...i dont know how to make head or tails of this titus, its good nonetheless...a bit frivilous(sp) in its tone, but i think that that aided the mocking theme you wanted to get across...well done on the poem buds...keep em coming! |

Thanks Cherish! It wasn't once of my 'best' poems, but it helped me deal with something. The mocking tone adds a bit of sarcastic flavor to it, shows the roots of the poem. Sincerely, Titus PS: Oh, and I'll keep 'em coming... =) "Old Men Love While Young Men Die" Kipling |
