She was all he ever needed, He lived his life on her every word, Love, care, affection, infatuation, He'd lay down this life, For his cause, For his princess, Yet he didn't match the vision, Her vision of happiness, Nothing could stop the blissful delight, Nothing but himself for he wasn't perfect, For her image of the unblemished, A soul so flawless it was a mirage, In it's own right, A conception so unthinkable, A dream so fulfilling, It halted the fantasy of perfect love..... |
