I am daring,
I take chances,
Let me do as I please,
I wanna break free,
My life is full of changes,
And I am changing with them,
Please don't be afraid,
your little girl will always be here,
but treat me like the young lady that I am.

2nd poem of yours I've read that talked about wanting to be treated like a lady instead of a child.
Stressful, I know. BEing a teen...you're just in that ackward stage of feeling like an adult but still not exactly BEING one yet...PArentd have a rough time with that. Perhaps you should just tell your Father/Mother what you're feeling and what you want to be treated like.

I did like this poem, but I hope you're asking your parents for independence and at the same time responsible enough to handle it. Good luck with that.

jess, i liked this but i thought u should extend it more and write about more, cuz i know exactly how u feel, and not just cuz u've told me but b/c i'm going thro it 2..neways, awesome job, cant wait 2 c more!
