Star bright,
guiding light,
lead me through
this sleepless night.

Past all the pain,
through all the strife,
far from this nightmare,
this thing we call life.

Lead me somewhere
that could be a dream,
where I could be special,
like a princess or queen.

A place with a river of hope,
and an ocean of love,
where you can see all your wishes come true
in the sky up above.

Star bright,

Well done here! Welcome to Passions! I surely did enjoy the poem and think you will make a lot of great poetic contributions to the site. I really liked this one and hope to see more.

WELCOME TO PIP!

A great first write! I loved how you began and ended with the same stanza, it made for some awesome closure to the poem. The flow was done wonderfully as well, the rhyme scheme helped alot in that area. Anyway, hope to see much more posts AND replies from you in the near future. Thanks for the read.
