A beacon shines in the heavens,
I have watched its pearly glow,
as it guides lost souls to heaven,
showing sinners the way to go.
Beckoning, it sends its beams
to gather doubters and fools.
Offering the fallen, grace and
forgiveness bright as any jewels.
If you are wandering in darkness,
days as black and bleak as night,
turn your head, open your heart,
and follow the beacon’s light.

I'm very much enjoying everyone's philosophical/spiritual cast to their work of late...this was a gentle and sweet read. Love your work!

I also like the spiritual aspect of this piece and am always amazed at how all these forms of creativeness find a path through the poet to express inner most thoughts!  Good poem!
