Well I am glad you re-posted this as it was a new one to me, and left me with a taste of salt water on my tongue, as it was very vivid imagery. Congratulations on your 1000th post Lauren, well done indeed. ~*~ Remember to tell someone today that you love them ~*~ |

Gently arousing the flow for the mountain, for the sea to chant your name to the night sky, Your aroma still lingers when I stand there, still on soft ground, still lingers as the ocean mist spreads you over the earth Spreads you over me, I find peace again In memory =========================== you know I love this one... Congrats on 1000th dear poetess... thank you for the many replies to my work that make up some of that grand number... and for all that you share with me in your gentle poetry and spirit of heart. jm |

Lauren, Congratulations on your 1000th post, my friend. I've always wanted to visit Oregon and this poem reminds me of why. This is lovely and for me, carries some underlying thoughts. Thank you. Michael Proust- |

Wonderful poem of reflection. It just glows in the reader's mind. Like these lines... "The soul can be heard, sounds of sea swelling, falling, breathing." Lonely with a dash of melancholy but beautiful! |
